We are more green by planting a garden trying to eat foods that are produced in the region we live in. We also try to bike or walk rather than driving.

We have finally embraced recycling. There was talk, there was hemming and hawing, there were reasons it didn’t matter… but finally we have embraced it. It’s really so simple and helps so much!

We’ve been embracing recycling, using reusable bags et cetra. We are at a stage with the house where windows and doors along with appliances are all being replaced and upgraded with energy saving items.

I use only my clothes line to dry laundry that can be hung dry, which is nearly everything. As an added bonus, many of my husbands ‘pull overs’ fit him now!
