We gave our 4 year old son this camera for his birthday, and after a couple days of him playing with it, decided this morning to plug it into the computer and upload his pictures.
When we plugged it in (using the provided USB cable), our virus scanner popped up saying our system was infected with a virus and to perform a scan now.
“Great timing!” So DH runs the virus scan, and it starts scanning the CAMERA…
Low and behold…
Fisher-Price KNOWS about this virus..
This is the link to their site: http://service.mattel.com/DC/English.asp
And here is some information on the virus: http://www.spy-emergency.com/research/V/Virus.Win32.Bacalid.html

Had we not have had real-time virus scanning, we would not have caught this. DH has contacted the company (of our virus scanner) for more information on this virus. We, like MANY others, have valuable pictures, music, and other files on our computer. A Trojan virus allows access to all of those files.
Once the virus scan runs and detects and removes the virus, the camera is clean and works fine. Actually, there is no way to know unless you run the scanner.
