I’m Going Gluten Free!

gluten free

I have decided to go gluten free! I have read a lot of gluten sensitivity, and also that a gluten-free diet may help with infertility. I don’t want to to go into too much detail, but I’ve noticed some less then pleasant after-effects of eating certain foods, 99% of which are gluten containing.

What you will notice if you look around is that the area for ‘Cooking and Recipes’ is actually going to contain more recipes. I will gathering and posting some of my favorites, along with cookbook and food product reviews. We’ve done this before for Chubbs, so I know some of the basics, but I also have a different approach to food, flavors, and textures that I can experiment with as opposed to finding familiar favorites for Chubbs.

I’m excited to try this and see if it helps anything! I will keep everyone updated, and can’t wait to experiment and try some new gluten-free foods!

I tried gluten free pretzels for the 1st time a couple weeks ago. They were great. I liked them better than regular pretzels.

You’d be amazed how much this diet helps. My son has been gluten free for over 2 years and his tummy issues were cured. His behavior improved, and he started talking and came out of the fog.
Best of luck. I wish I could cut it out of my diet, but gluten is addictiing :( I was warned with my son to wean him off slowly to avoid withdrawls

This was actually me going gluten-free, and I did for awhile, but since I’ve started WW, I’ve noticed that it was more so just the JUNK foods causing my tummy issues. Since I’ve cut out pop and fast food, I have had so much improvement. For Chubbs, it may be something we revisit in the future, but for right now, a little fiber in his diet is helping, along with his therapies! It’s a never-ending learning process!
