There are so many reasons why I love being a mom. First steps, first words, first friend, first day of school…
But I totally love being a mom when my son’s teacher sends me pictures of their day. I love that a teacher would take time out of HER day, to send me a couple of pictures. I know that there are only like ten kids in the class, so it’s not a huge deal, but the fact that I get these adorable pictures is so awesome!
Not only did they do roller skating in class, my kid is on IN LINE SKATES! The kid who didn’t walk until he was 25 months! The kid with low muscle tone! I’ve cropped this picture, but the other kids are wearing skates, the ones with 2 in the front, 2 in the back (skates, right? Then they have blades, like what Chubbs wore).
He has just told me that he wants “a skateboard, roller skates, and a trampoline” for Christmas. What happened to Hot Wheels, Playmobil, and coloring books?!

What an adorable picture. What an accomplishment, you must be so proud. Well, I know what will be under the tree this year. He so deserves them!
