This past week was pretty good, I felt in control of my food, and got a lot of movement in. In fact, I even attempted (really I just wanted to watch) the abs portion of P90X. Hey, it’s enough exercise just WATCHING! I got my hands on the EA Sports ACTIVE More Workouts disc and tried the ab workout for 15 minutes, and I can still feel it 3, maybe 4 days later. I’m thinking I may start the 6 week challenge this week, to add some consistency to my schedule. For those of you who have done it, what did you think? Is it a good mix of things?
I found myself doing a lot of thinking back this week, back to March when I first started. Back to when I was just switching our pantry and fridge over to healthier choices. I pulled up Weight Watchers and looked at my graph, and how steady it has been, and how much I’ve lost since March. When I started, I didn’t believe in myself. I didn’t think I would last. I figured I would stick with it for a couple of weeks, lose a couple of pounds, and that would be it. I would fall of the wagon and back into my old habits of junk and little movement. I’m surprised myself, and I’m proud of myself. I’m proud that my favorite blog went from being P.Hilton to The Fitnessista where I find daily food inspiration and motivation to keep moving (go look at her! She’s gorg!).
Anyway, I need to make this a short one, it’s only 7:30am and the kiddo just came down stairs and gave me a sleepy hug.
Last week: 193.3
This week: 191.
Poundage lost: 1.7!
Percentage lost: .88% (can we round up?)
TOTAL lost since March: 21 pounds!

I LOVE P90X abs ripper X workout!! LOVE it! Yes it is hard. But it is doable (is that even a word) if you do as many reps as you can of each exercise and work up to the full amount of reps. Trust me, when I started that video, I had a few choice words and grunts to throw at the TV screen. LOL! But I notice results fast! Speaking of…I think I may break out the P90X ab Ripper today!

Great job on the loss this week! I love the 6 week challenge! I think they do a great job of mixing up the exercises, for variety and to allow upper body, etc, rest time.
