I’m not talking about just a quick up and away type of helicopter ride. I’m talking about a full blown helicopter tour that gets close to waterfalls, dives into canyons, and flies towards the sun. How incredible would that be?
I know that sounds like a once in a lifetime encounter, and maybe it is, but the popularity of “helitours” is growing and growing. You can take an aerial tour of many cities now, and one that’s on my list is Savannah, Georgia.
Before, my dream was to do the waterfalls, and the shoreline, and all that jazz. But now that I have a son, I have a feeling we’d spend more time checking out the helicopter parts, and seeing how it all works. Isn’t that weird? Don’t get me wrong, I love learning with him! That’s the best part of having children, you start seeing things through their eyes, and at their level. It would be so neat to go to a helicopter garage and watch them work on some helicopter repairs. It could be something small, like a helicopter blades needing replaced (is that a small job?) to just refueling, I bet Chubbs would get a kick out of it!
We have a vacation planned for Savannah, Georgia later this year, and I think it would be so neat to see River Street from the air! What about South Carolina lighthouses, and coastline? How fun would it be to pack up a picnic lunch, go fly around, land on an island, and have lunch? It would be like we were famous, and loaded, and could just do whatever we wanted!
So on my bucket list, is to take a helicopter ride. It can be one of the $15 ones at a county fair, an exotic beach tour at sunset, or just over the beautiful southern city of Savannah!
This post may or may not be compensated, but the opinions are mine, and I really do want to fly around in a helicopter!
