I decided for my lunch that I would try what I had heard was a “very classy establishment”. Upon arriving I was immediately brought a plate. On top of this plate was half of a hamburger bun and a slice of tomato.
You have got to be kidding me.
I promptly sent the plate back, and demanded that the waitor ask me what I would like to drink. Instead of asking, he replied, “How about lemonade?” and starting to walk off! How rude! As he sauntered off to the kitchen, I yelled, “I’ll have a rootbeer!”. You want to play hard ball, I’m game buddy!
The waiter finally returned and asked what I would like to eat.
“I will have a salad, one slice of pizza, and a baked potato.”
A few quick moments ago, my waitor returned with my salad, my pizza, and onion rings. Apparently, they were out of potatoes. Okay, that’s fine, not a HUGE deal. I could live with my meal, so I went ahead and started eating.
All of a sudden, my waiter returns, reaches into my pocket, takes my debt card and skips off to the kitchen!
I screamed, “You can NOT reach into my pocket and take my card! Give that back!”
I was too late. The meal was charged to my card. Angered, on the verge of flipping my table over, I demanded dessert.
“How about a muffin?”
Not exactly a dessert item in my mind, but I went with it. I mean, if I ask for something specific, I’m sure I’ll get a filet of fish.
I was brought a plate.
This is definitely not a muffin. This is a cinnamon roll, a slice of cheese, and a pat of butter.
Oh this is just unreal!
As I sit and wonder what is wrong with this restaurant, and questioning whether or not I have entered the “Twilight Zone”, my waiter returns with a lone onion ring.
I glance around, trying to figure out just where I am.
Oh that’s right…
What else would you expect from this pair of trouble makers?
