Today’s topic is, “6 reasons why your online friends are better than your real life ones”. So here we go…
1. Online friends don’t drag you around to 5 different stores to try on shoes when you’ve complained endlessly about cramps/headache/stubbed toe/bleeding ears.
2. When online friends start drama, they harass you on Twitter, Facebook, your blog. Real life friends text everyone they know, drive by your house, maybe even TP your yard. Well, they do in high school anyway.
3. Online friends understand writer’s block. Real life friends tell you to get a real job.
4. Online friends know what it’s like to have your host go down for maintenance. Real life friends have no idea what this language means and instead keep talking about their last date.
5. Online friends (through experience) rally around you, offering support. Real life friends (again, through experience), only come around when they want or need something.
6. Online friends are better because the real life friends don’t understand. Which means I don’t have to talk, I can just Twitter while they complain about _____.
