Wait…where did 2009 go?!

December 30, 2009

I cannot believe that 2009 is just about over! This year has been a WHIRLWIND of crazy! From starting the year in a new house, to starting this blog…to a million other things. 2009 was also the beginning of Mamavation, and the official start to my journey. Had it not been for blogging and Twitter, I would have never ‘met’ Leah, and I’m so thankful for that!

Christmas week has come and gone… and so has the food. Every year I make fudge and peppermint bark… and I’ll admit, I’ve had some. It’s just too darn good! On Christmas day, I did indulge… and I made some bad choices. But I did journal everything… and I’m aware that I need to have some self control. Hindsight is always 20/20, but I know what mistakes I made and where I could have made improvements. It’s such a learning process!

The past couple of days I have been doing a lot of house cleaning and organizing, and have been definitely getting my heart pumping running around the house. I took a break from my bike, but with the cliche of the new year, one of my resolutions is to actually SCHEDULE to get on and get a workout. Yes, I am actually going to write it down on a calendar and schedule it. Might seem weird, but I think it will work for me. I like to plan things and schedule things out, so this will be good for me.

It’s such a cliche to make weight loss resolutions, but I will lose weight in 2010. Even if I’m not chosen as a Mamavation mom, I will continue to follow along and support everyone. It’s the Sisterhood… supportive, caring, hilarious, beautiful!

Oh, because of the craziness of the past week, I once again do not have scale pic. It’s so not a habit to grab the camera and get on the scale! Forgive me?
