Participants must submit videos of their compositions and can use any device that resembles the Shake Weight. Participants can also purchase a Shake Weight in return for a full refund. Only one entry per person is permitted.
“While the Shake Weight has become a worldwide sensation, the product does not have a definitive soundtrack,” said Kellie Cagle., Communications Director for Fitness IQ, the developers of the Shake Weight™. “With so many Shake Weight viral videos circulating and ongoing TV coverage on some of the country’s most watched TV shows, we’d like to give the brand’s fans the opportunity to come up with a fun and inventive jingle that will be used in our ads worldwide. It will follow the brand wherever it goes and may even lead to live performances on some of the top TV outlets that have followed the Shake Weight with so much enthusiasm.”
Participants can find out more about the “Shake It” jingle competition including official rules and submission guidelines at www.shakeweightsong.com. Submissions for the contest begin today, June 21st, and deadline to enter is August 31st. The contest winner will be chosen by September 15th. Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to creative assignment and total viral YouTube views.

I haven’t succumbed yet but I’ve been sorely tempted by several things, except the Shamwow. Don’t want that at all!
I purchased a product that was supposed to make blooming onions like you can buy at the popular austrailian steakhouse. It was not easy to use and make a huge mess.

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I totally own a Snuggie.
I have purchased a ‘Snuggie’ blanket – it is warm, comfortable and I like the benefit of having sleeves… but it is big and with three puppies it’s sometimes more like a ‘mummy’ wrap. Now I need something to get me off the couch! :)
My least favorite “As Seen On TV” product I have tried is the QuickLawn Grass Seed – just $19.95 plus $6.95 S&H (plus 1 pound bag ‘FREE’… just pay an additional $6.95 S&H). They claim that each set has enough seed to cover 1000 square feet. Yeah, right. Might as well buy sod and be done with it!
