The other day we had some of the windows open, enjoying the breeze and just airing out the house. I kept hearing birds, awfully close, chirping and fluttering about. I knew the bathroom window was open, so I went there first, following the noise. I was so thankful the window had a screen! There were two birds, one flew away as I walked closer to the window. This little guy (or girl!) just sat there, even looking right at me.
I have to admit, I was a little scared it would try coming through the screen at me! A totally irrationally thought, I know!
Anyway, this picture was taken without zoom! I was able to get THAT close to that little birdie on my windowsill before he/she flew off. I had picked Chubbs up so he could see what all the ruckus was about.
